It is a flexible automatic system starting from strip for the production of side panels for metal containers with punching-notching solution, marking with lateral profiling with point welding to unite edges, manipulator with press for the execution of trapezoids. Such solution allows a quick change of width (PMD roll forming line with mobile supports), of length (from CNC) and of the n° of trapezoids (from CNC). It is characterized by productivity 3 pcs/min with panels with 5 trapezoids. As options it could be added a cutting press with stacker before the roll forming line for flat cut pieces.

It is a motorized decoiler (or idle on request) with the capacity of 15 tons. Complete with hydraulic power pack and independent electric plant. Hydraulic unit for the spindle regulation, an electric plant for the automatic / manual mode and for the speed regulation. Complete with loop, arm for the loop control, and spokes to maintain the strip in the correct position.

The PMD type roll forming machine is particularly suitable for the production of panels and profiles for shelving, trapezoidal sheets, “C” and “U” profiles, sandwich panels and cable channels, etc. The particularity of this machine is based on the possibility to change some dimensions very quickly. For this reason the machine is equipped with profiling cassettes with opposing overhung shafts. The cassettes can be moved through a motor operated by the control system.

This system is composed of a transportation and centering belt, followed by a basement on which the spot welding units are mounted. A laterally movable and interchangeable copper bar is installed on the lower part of the basement, while on the upper part there are adjustable welding units visible on a metric ruler. There is a cooling system, which can be water-based or alternatively a refrigeration unit, and a pneumatic device for the blocking of the profile.

It is a set of forming rolls, made of tempered and rectified steel to make the profile requested by the client. The series of rolls is characterized by high precision and durability. Their function is at the heart of the whole plant; for this reason PM follows with particular precision the whole development (the whole process of roll-making is executed internally).
Generally it is in the final part of the line and carries out the cut and the punching to measure of the piece.



Conveyor for the evacuation of the finished piece. It is a simple conveyor with rolls which allows the operator to unload easily the piece.

The whole electric installation is intended here. Electric cabinet, cable channels, control desk and software for the management of the line parameters, all according to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
